Highview Golf Course

          Privately Owned

Powassan, Ontario, Canada
705-724-5230

Just 15 minutes south of the City of North Bay!
This course is a gem of the Powassan area. It is a par 67, 18 hole course that plays over 4,667 yards and offers a challenge to players of all abilities and ages.

The play of the course features a variety of terrain, and 10 of the holes have water on them. Each hole offers a unique challenge in shot selection and strategy. The course places emphasis on irons, but you will need woods and a driver at times. There are few bunkers, and a sand wedge isn't a necessity if you would rather play without the extra weight, perhaps taking a different club or a ball retriever instead.

The course usually has tee times available. Weekends of course are busier, and sometimes club events and tournaments make the course unavailable. Generally speaking, when you plan on playing 18 holes, it is best to get a morning or early afternoon tee time. This is especially true on Monday's (Men's Night) and Wednesdays (Ladies Night). Also, on Thursday mornings Highview has Senior Day.

Testimonials

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for being so helpful in my recent meeting with the Economic Development Officer, Chief Building Official, Public Works Supervisor and Deputy Clerk. I had many questions regarding rezoning and development. It was a pleasure to have them answered in a co-operative, responsible, knowledgeable manner. Council and staff should be congratulated for their efforts in this matter. Lonny Rose, April 20, 2010.
