The OPP has confirmed that local residents that have been visited by a company out of Ottawa offering water testing for well systems have been the targets of a scam/fraud. The company is attempting to sell filtration systems. Anyone who has this, or any other door-to-door or phone sales occurance that they feel uncomfortable with should report the incident to the Anti-Fraud line 1-888-495-8501 or website www.antifraudcentre.ca
