Trout Creek Winter Carnival

Where: Trout Creek Community Centre

Activities: The annual Trout Creek Carnival takes place Family Day weekend. Annual events are Trout Creek Lion's $1,000.00 jackpot Bingo, Bingo put on by the Trout Creek Booster Club, Men's and Ladies hockey tournaments running throughout the weekend, children's games,dog sleigh rides, as well as a dance (19 yrs and older only), with a pancake breakfast on Sunday.

Powassan Maple Syrup Festival

Where: Main Street, and in the Sportsplex arena

Activities: The anuual family friendly, FREE, outdoor festival has something for everyone:Lumber Jack competition, Scottish heavy event, Kidz zone in the Legion, live entertainers on the stage, vendors on Main Street AND in the Sportsplex, sheep shearing demonstration, pony rides and petting zoo, pancake breakfasts and baked bean lunch, busing to off site parking and Mathews Maple Sugar Bush, cooking eemo, antique car and tractor display and lots of tasty maple treats!

Powassan Farmer’s Market

Where: Main Street South, beside The Beer Store, Powassan

When: May - Thanksgiving, 9 AM - 1 PM rain or shine

Activities: Local vendors offer early vegetables – lettuce, spinach, onions, radish, carrots, beets, Swiss chard, garlic tops, orr purchase homemade bread, pies, squares and other baking; jams, jellies, pickles; local freezer meats; goat milk soaps and lotions; herbs and perennials; bedding plants and annual flowers; crafts, sewing, jewelry.  Enjoy BBQ sausage on a bun, hot and cold beverages. Picnic tables under the large tent.

New vendors welcome. Pets must be leashed.
