Notice of Construction

On behalf of Bell Canada, Telecon Design Inc. will be conducting infrastructure upgrade to portions of Bell’s utility network within the Municipality of Powassan. These upgrades include the installation of new fibre optic within the urban areas of Powassan, as indicated in the map below. To reduce the impacts to residents, when possible directional boring shall be used to install the new utility infrastructure. These infrastructure improvements are currently under construction, and are anticipated to be completed by February of 2022.

Once the Utility upgrades are complete, Bell will notify residents of any potential new packages/plans available. Should you have any concerns regarding this work, please contact Codey Munshaw – Public Works Engineer at (705)-724-2813 ext. 202.
