Work on the Clark Street paving project is progressing as scheduled.
Over the coming week, crews will complete the remaining linear infrastructure work required prior to paving.
This includes the final installation and adjustment of valve boxes and caps, manhole lids, and stormwater catch basins to ensure all infrastructure is properly set to final grade.
Following completion of this work, the roadway will be prepared for the final paving operation. Paving is currently scheduled to commence during the week of September 21, 2026, weather and site conditions permitting.
Completing the remaining linear infrastructure work in advance of paving will allow the contractor to ensure that all underground and surface infrastructure is properly aligned and at the appropriate finished elevations before the final road surface is placed.
