Outdoor Special Events

Special Event Permits are required for all organized outdoor events held on municipal property including Municipal streets, sidewalks, trails, parks, and open space. Examples of events are parades, walk-a-thons, concerts, fairs, public gatherings and other activities that include temporary road closures. It is the responsibility of the event organizer to obtain approval for their event.

Outdoor sporting events and events held in indoor Municipal facilities are exempt from obtaining a Special Event Permit, unless a temporary road closure is involved. Requests for road closures unrelated to events shall contact the Municipal Office.
