Roles and Responsibilities

The Administrative Department includes the Municipal Clerk and Deputy Clerk, Treasurer, Tax Collector, Commissioner of Oaths, Administrative Assistants - Corporate and Community Services, and Lottery Licensing Officer. Our full administrative staff is responsible for managing Municipal departments and is the link between all departments and Municipal Council to support and facilitate the execution of Council decisions.

The Department is also responsible for Human Resources and Municipal Communications. 

 

Ongoing Community Projects

While staff and Council work on many projects throughout the Municipality, there are projects of special interest to community members. Projects that are ongoing tend to have reports or memos presented at numerous Council meetings over a lenghty period of time. We've listed those projects below and compiled the reports to make the information easier to find and to help communicate where the project stands currently.
